My second day started with a English lesson on the topic of families. We practiced basic vocabulary, and everyone described their own family using simple sentences. We also talked about the families we had visited the day before.
After that, I began writing my first blog post. Thanks to Laetitias Blog it was easy to upload it. https://thienchicenter.org/article/how-to-create-and-publish-a-blog-post-21151.html
In the afternoon, we visited three families who are currently supported by the Thien Chi Center.

The first family we met was Ms. Tành’s. She is taking care of her daughter, who has mental health issues, as well as her granddaughter, who is in grade 8 and suffers from epilepsy. Both require regular medication, which is expensive. To support the family financially, the Thien Chi Center provides microloans. Ms. Tành uses these loans to earn an income through scrap trading.
The second family we visited has used their loan to invest in a dragon fruit farm. The father lost both of his legs in an accident and is no longer able to work. As a result, the family depends on alternative sources of income.
The last family grows different crops, including bamboo, jackfruit, and bananas. In addition, the Thien Chi Center supports them by providing a scholarship for their youngest son.

One notable observation was the size of the jackfruits, I had never seen such a big fruit before.
