Every year, alongside providing scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds, Thien Chi Center maintains another meaningful activity: scholarship recipients and their parents come to the Center each month to help clean and care for its grounds.
Simple tasks such as sweeping, pulling weeds, organizing supplies, and tidying the garden offer valuable lessons. Students learn that when they receive support from the community, they can also contribute in their own small ways to making it a better place.

This is more than a cleaning activity. It is an opportunity for students to develop gratitude, generosity, and a sense of responsibility for their surroundings. Through everyone’s small contribution, they help create a cleaner, more welcoming, and warmer environment.
Thien Chi Center sincerely appreciates the continued participation of parents and students. Through these simple acts, we nurture the values of gratitude, responsibility, and community engagement.
Small acts, shared together, can create meaningful change!
