In addition to providing loans to develop the economy, Thien Chi also carries out programs to improve community awareness through training:

Awareness about several common diseases: Breast cancer, respiratory diseases, seasonal diseases... This program gathers more than 500 participants per year and has a greater impact as the knowledge is passed on among the communities.

Women Rights: The goal of this program is to make the women's voices heard in their family. Through Legal Aid sessions, Women's Right community training help more than 300 women each year. It is difficult to change mentalities in places where the role of men and women has been clear for decades, but it starts with giving women tools to exist.

Medical support: One of the straightest ways to contribute is to cover the medical fees of a family or even their health insurance. The costs are usually way too high for the families and Thien Chi can step in, so does the government.

Many times, I didn’t dare go for a check-up, fearing they’d discover more illnesses. I sincerely thank the Center for providing me with health insurance."
