In December 2022, more than 3,000 poor families benefit from the microcredit program. The average income increases by 25% per year; over 200 poor families leave the program every year because their income has improved. The loans go from 100$ to 400$, depending on the beneficiary’s models. Each household is trained to use the money efficiently, then Thien Chi employees will follow up monthly. It increases the success rate of the loan by helping to minimize the risks.

Instead of microcredit, Thien Chi can provide breeding animals to the families. When these animals are pregnant and give birth, baby animals will be given to Thien Chi as a repayment, equal to the value of the first animal. Then Thien Chi will sell these baby animals and purchase other pregnant animals for the next families, creating a cycle to help more and more families. An average of 20 poor families per year are under this program.
