The family of Ms. Lại Thị The in Hamlet 3, Vũ Hòa Commune, Đức Linh District, Bình Thuận Province is a near-poor household in the locality and has been participating in Thiện Chí’s economic development program since February 2022 with an initial average income of 843,000 VND per person, which has now increased by 160,000 VND.

Ms. The’s family currently has three members. Born in 1972, Ms. The is a single mother who earns a living by collecting and reselling scrap materials and cleaning houses for others, which provides an unstable and precarious income. Additionally, she raises two sows and keeps chickens and ducks in her garden to improve their living conditions.

Ms. The suffers from various illnesses, including heart disease, diabetes, a breast tumor, a herniated disc, and sinusitis, requiring frequent hospital visits and costly medications. Her son, Trần Văn Hoàng, born in 1989, and her daughter, Trần Thị Sang, born in 2001, both work as helpers to support their mother, but their incomes are low.

Ms. The's family is a near-poor household in the locality with difficult economic conditions. Thiện Chí has provided her with health insurance worth 972,000 VND (nine hundred seventy-two thousand VND), allowing her to access medical care and medications, which has given her peace of mind to work. Additionally, to increase the family’s income and improve their living conditions, Thiện Chí has supported the family with one replacement sow that is one month pregnant. The first litter from this sow is expected to provide a source of income for the family.
