Phạm Thị Mỹ Duyên, born in 2013, is currently facing a challenging and difficult life. Her small family consists of only her mother and three siblings: one brother and two sisters. Their lives became more challenging when her parents divorced, and the father did not take responsibility for raising the children.
Duyên's mother is a strong woman who has to work as a casual laborer to earn enough to support her four children and herself. Due to financial difficulties, Duyên's mother sent the four siblings to their grandmother for care while she went to Đồng Nai to work as a laborer to ensure income for the family. However, this job not only separates the mother from her family but also presents many new challenges.
Duyên's grandmother, who is taking care of the four children, is currently dealing with chronic pneumonia. Despite suffering from chronic pneumonia, she sells lottery tickets to financially support the children. She managed to secure a temporary shelter, a 70m2 piece of land, for the children to live in.
With a monthly contribution of 300,000 VND, it can help cover additional expenses for the children to continue their education.
