Life has never been easy for Hoang. His father passed away early, and his mother left 
and never returned, forcing the family to rely on their eldest son's house for shelter. Hoang's grandfather suffers from a heart valve defect, arthritis, and kidney stones, facing many challenges in his daily life. Despite her advanced age and health issues, his grandmother strives to overcome her pain and take care of the two grandchildren. She works in a dragon fruit plantation to earn a living for the family. Whenever his grandfather is in good health, he also acccompanies her to contribute to the household income.
Although they live together with their eldest son's family, Hoàng, his grandparents, and his two siblings have to fend for themselves in their daily lives. With an average monthly income of only 2,000,000 Vietnamese Dong, it is not enough to meet their basic needs. Hoàng's sister is currently in the third grade, and Hoàng himself is preparing to enter first grade. The family is facing many difficulties and requires support from the community to overcome this challenging period.
In order to help Hoàng and his family, the Thiện Chí Center has provided his grandfather with monthly health insurance for medical check-ups and medication. Currently, Hoàng is in need of support to continue his educational journey as he prepares to enter first grade.
