Future for you #79: Trần Phan Tố Trinh

Trần Phan Tố Trinh, born in 2016, is currently a 4th-grade student at Mương Mán Primary School. She lives with her parents and younger brother in Văn Phong Hamlet, Hàm Kiệm Commune.

Her family of four resides in a small brick house of about 30m², unfinished and sparsely furnished with only two small tables, one of which is used for Trinh’s study. Their main source of income comes from 400 dragon fruit pillars given by her grandfather. However, due to unstable prices, after deducting expenses for fertilizers, pesticides, electricity, and labor, the family earns only about 7–8 million VND per crop.

Trinh’s father works both in the dragon fruit orchard and as a hired laborer, while her mother tends to the orchard and takes care of the children. The school is nearly 8 km away, and during the rainy season, the dirt paths across the fields become muddy, slippery, and difficult to travel.

Despite these challenges, Trinh is a diligent and hardworking student. She and her family sincerely hope to receive support from benefactors so that she can continue her studies under better conditions. The family is seeking assistance of 300,000 VND per month for 12 months to help cover Trinh’s educational expenses.
