The family of Tran Lam Dan, a Grade 7 student for the 2026–2027 school year, is living in extremely difficult circumstances. Although the family was removed from the local poor household list after receiving a cow through a livelihood support program, their financial situation remains very challenging.
The family has five members, including the parents and three school-aged children who will be in Grades 7, 5, and 1. They own no farmland or valuable assets, and the family's income depends mainly on the father's temporary labor jobs. To earn a living, he has to work in Ho Chi Minh City, but his employment is unstable and his income is low.
The children's mother suffers from a mild mental illness and requires ongoing treatment and medication, leaving her unable to work. The livelihood cow previously provided to the family had to be sold to cover her medical expenses and daily living costs. The family's average income is only about VND 840,000 per person per month, making it difficult to meet even their basic needs.
After conducting a household assessment, Thien Chi Center found that Tran Lam Dan's family is in urgent need of support. We sincerely appeal to generous donors to provide him with a scholarship and a monthly living allowance of VND 300,000 to help cover school expenses, purchase learning materials, and enable him to continue his education.
