Vu is studying in class 6C at Nguyen Khuyen Secondary School. Em Vu's family currently resides in village 7 - Nam Chinh commune, Duc Linh district, Binh Thuan province. The house does not have any fields. Grandparents gave land to build a house next to it, including 4 people: parents, brother and Vu.
Mother has severe diabetes, hyperthyroidism, tricuspid regurgitation, physical weakness, and has been undergoing treatment for 5 years. Vu's mother's health is weak, she can't do anything, and due to complications from the disease, her eyes are also fading. Vu's father is the main breadwinner in the family. He alone father had to work hard to take care of his sick mother for the past 5 years and his 2 children.The family's main income comes from his father's job as a bricklayer, but the job is also precarious and unstable, sometimes unemployed for several months. Due to the influence of work, my father also suffered from spinal pain and stomach pain.
Besides studying, I also help my mother with housework. Vu's future dream is to make a lot of money to treat his mother's illness.
Thien Chi hopes that the monthly scholarship of 300,000 VND/month will partly help his family have more motivation, create conditions for Vu to go to school and realize his dream.
