Future is for you #37: Nguyen Tuong Nghi

Nguyen Tuong Nghi's family is a local poor household. The old, simple house is where the Nghi family of 6 people with 3 generations live. Her parents are the breadwinners in the house, raising an elderly grandmother, an uncle with Down syndrome who cannot work, and Nghi and her younger sister who are still in school.

The family only has 2 acres of rice fields left by their grandmother. One year, Nghi's father worked 2 crops and collected more than 3 tons of fresh rice. After deducting all expenses, he only made a profit of 6,000,000. The rest of the time, Nghi's father worked for other people. Everyone did whatever they asked him to do, but the work was uneven. Every day, Nghi's mother made wrapped cakes and brought them to the market to sell. At noon, when the cakes ran out, she would return home to cook for them. children, old mother and an uncle who is as naive as a child. In her free time, Nghi and her younger sister help her mother with housework, taking care of and teaching her younger sister, so that her parents can feel secure in making money. Even though we try to work hard, the average income for a family of 6 is only 770,000/month.

Hopefully the sponsors can share the worries and burdens of Nghi's family and support Nguyen Tuong Nghi, a 10th grade student at Hung Vuong High School, with a scholarship of 300,000 VND/month.
