Phan Thai Son's family is a poor local household, they have no fields, and have 1.5 acres of land planted with 600 rubber trees. Currently, there are 5 parents and 3 educated brothers living in an old brick house.
Son's mother has breast cancer and has metastasized. She has been treated for 5 years and has had her right breast removed. Now she has bone cancer. She has to go to the oncology clinic every month. Her health is weak, so Son's mother does not go to work. So, mother Sơn just stay at home as a housewife and sell small groceries.
Huy (first brother) is in his final year of university at Nguyen Tat Thanh school and Dat (middle brother) is out of school at home waiting to go to vocational school. Thai Son is in 9th grade at Phan Boi Chau Secondary School. Son is a bit naive, in addition to his work. Sơn help my mother get groceries, cook, and wash dishes. The family's main income comes from Sơn father and 600 rubber trees.
