Truong Thi Hoai Uyen is the child of a family with difficult circumstances in village 1, Mepu commune, Duc Linh district, Binh Thuan province. Uyên family currently has 4 members including mother and 3 sisters. Uyên father passed away after 4 years of treatment for kidney failure and ascites cirrhosis. Uyên mother is a strong woman who takes care of her three school-aged children alone.
The family is in a difficult situation with only 3 acres of rice fields and 3 acres of cashew fields. Even though the children go to school, they are all grown up. no longer a child who has to pick me up and take care of food and water. Uyen's mother applied for a seasonal job at a private garment company to have a source of income. In the summer, little Uyen asked to work part-time in the mornings selling coffee to help her mother make some money.
The cost of studying is very high, the family hopes that sponsors will help and support Truong Thi Hoai Uyen with a scholarship of 300,000 VND/month to give the family more motivation.
