Future is for you #44: Mang Tran Kim Phuong

Mang Tran Kim Phuong was born in 2011, currently studying in grade 7, Ham Thuan Nam Middle School for Ethnic Minorities Boarding School, currently the family lives in village 3, Ham Can, Ham Thuan Nam.

Family of 5 includes: father, mother, older brother, Phuong and younger sister. The house has 400 dragon fruit pillars, but due to no water for irrigation and fluctuating prices, the harvest is very low. Dad takes care of dragon fruit and also works as a hired laborer. The older brother is in 9th grade and Phuong is in 7th grade at the same school. The youngest child, Bich Ngoc, suffered from cerebral palsy since childhood. He cannot walk and only lies in one place. Mom has to stay home to take care of her, so she can't go to work. When cassava season comes, the mother has to carry the baby on her back and go to work. The family's main income is from working, but it is unstable, so the situation is very difficult

Because the school is far from home, the two brothers have to stay until the weekend or vacation before returning home. Every week, when the two brothers go to school, their mother only gives each of them 100,000 VND to pay for bus fare and school activities. Even though their family circumstances are difficult, they still try to study hard.

The family hopes that sponsors can help her with a scholarship of 300,000 VND/month so that Phuong can cover her study expenses.
