Gia Bảo's Situation: A Journey Full of Challenges
Gia Bảo, whose full name is Trần Bá Gia Bảo, was born in 2012 and is currently in the 7th grade. Gia Bảo is one of three children of Mr. Trần Bá Khôi and Mrs. Phan Thị Thương, living in Hiệp Nhơn Hamlet, Tân Thuận Commune, Hàm Thuận Nam District, Bình Thuận Province. The Khôi family, originally from Quảng Trị, had to leave their hometown to start anew in a new land, facing many challenges in life.
Struggling Life and Challenges
The Khôi family owns 500 dragon fruit plants, which is their main source of income. While Mr. Khôi works as a construction laborer earning 300,000 VND per day, this job is only available for about 7 months of the year. During the rainy season, when construction work is unavailable, Mr. Khôi focuses on caring for the dragon fruit and doing odd jobs to help his wife support their three children who are in school.
Recently, the Khôi family faced a significant challenge when Mr. Khôi had an accident and broke his leg. Although he has recovered, his health still does not allow him to return to work, adding to the family's difficulties.
Financial Pressure and Worries
Gia Bảo and his two younger siblings, Gia Hân and Gia Hạo, are all of school age, which places additional financial pressure on the family. Especially at the start of the school year, when costs for books and clothing rise, Mr. Khôi's family feels even more stressed financially.
Currently, the family's income is only about 900,000 VND per person per month, while the cost of living and educational expenses for the three children is a significant burden. The Khôi family is borrowing from the Thiện Chí Center to invest in their dragon fruit business, and they are currently on their fourth loan cycle with an amount of 10 million VND.
The Need for Support
Given the current difficult situation, Mr. Khôi's family is hoping for support from generous individuals. They need 300,000 VND per month to cover educational expenses for their children, helping Gia Bảo and his siblings to continue their education without financial worries. This support will not only help the family through this challenging period but also provide the children with the opportunity to continue their studies and develop a brighter future.
