Mr. Đoàn Chí Thanh, born in 1994, is currently living with his younger brother, Đoàn Chí Công (born in 1997), in Đại Thành Hamlet, Hàm Kiệm Commune. Their parents passed away early, leaving the two brothers to rely on each other to get through life’s hardships. The family is classified as near-poor, without farmland, and they survive mainly by doing hired labor with an unstable income of only 200,000–300,000 VND per day.
However, Thanh’s health is very weak. For nearly 10 years, he has been suffering from kidney disease, which prevents him from working regularly. Due to financial hardship, Thanh cannot afford regular dialysis sessions; he only goes to the hospital when his condition becomes critical, causing his health to deteriorate further.
In mid-August 2025, while working on an offshore fishing boat in Kiên Giang, Thanh’s illness relapsed. Because the boat was far from shore, he could not receive timely treatment, and his condition became life-threatening.

He is now being treated at Chợ Rẫy Hospital in critical condition. Local authorities have mobilized donations, and the family had to borrow money to make a 50-million-VND deposit for hospital fees. Yet, the ongoing treatment and medication costs are still very high, far beyond what the two brothers can manage.
Faced with this difficult situation, the family sincerely hopes to receive the care and support of kind-hearted benefactors so that Thanh can continue treatment, sustain his life, and recover his strength. The fundraising goal is 50 million VND to cover dialysis and nutritional care for Thanh during this critical period.
