Mr. Dũng, the main breadwinner and the sole source of income for his six-member household classified as a poor family, is currently in a deep coma due to severe brain trauma at Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City. At the same time, his wife, Ms. Duyên, is undergoing treatment for facial fractures. Their two-year-old son, who fortunately stabilized after an injury to his ear area, has been sent to his aunt’s home for care.
On November 21, 2025, a tragic traffic accident abruptly disrupted the livelihood of the family of Mr. Phan Tấn Dũng in Huy Khiêm 6 Hamlet, Đồng Kho Commune, Lâm Đồng Province. The accident, caused by a collision with a truck, left both husband and wife critically injured.
The family had relied on seasonal labor and chicken-plucking work to earn a living. Now, with both parents bedridden, all income has been cut off. The cost of treating brain injuries and the long process of rehabilitation are far beyond the family’s means.
