Medical support #37: Trương Quang Thành

Mr. Trương Quang Thành (born in 1982) and his wife Nguyễn Thị Minh Hiếu (born in 1985) earn a living through daily manual labor, mainly working in dragon fruit farms, to support their two daughters. Their eldest daughter, Trương Thị Thanh Trúc (born in 2006), is currently a second-year university student, while the younger daughter, Trương Nguyễn Thanh Ngọc (born in 2011), is in grade 9.

In June 2025, their family life was suddenly disrupted when Mr. Thành suffered a severe headache after work and was rushed to Chợ Rẫy Hospital. Doctors diagnosed him with a stroke and cerebral hemorrhage, requiring emergency surgery and 45 days of hospitalization. He was later transferred to Bình Thuận General Hospital for an additional 10 days of treatment. The total medical cost reached 70 million VND, despite having health insurance.

At present, Mr. Thành’s health remains fragile. He frequently suffers from seizures and has to be hospitalized multiple times, sometimes twice a month, with each admission costing around 4 million VND. He must also attend regular follow-up visits at a hospital in Biên Hòa, Đồng Nai. Once the main breadwinner, he is now unable to work. Mrs. Hiếu has to accompany her husband to hospitals, leaving her little time to earn income, pushing the family into severe financial hardship and greatly affecting their children’s education.

In this critical situation, the family humbly seeks support of 20,000,000 VND from kind-hearted donors to help cover medical expenses and daily living costs. Any contribution, no matter how small, would be a great encouragement and help the family overcome this difficult period.
