Medical support #39: Ngô Quang Thịnh

Ngo Quang Thinh, born in 2010, is the third son of Mr. Ngo Quang Thao (1979) and Mrs. Cao Thi Nguyet (1983). The family earns their living mainly through daily labor and dragon fruit farming. They have about 400 dragon fruit poles; however, unstable market prices and high production costs have resulted in little to no income, and at times even losses.

Thinh studied until grade 9 but had to drop out of school due to the family’s financial hardship. Feeling sympathy for his parents’ struggles, he decided to stay home and work as a laborer to help support the family. Unfortunately, in January this year, Thinh was involved in a serious traffic accident, suffering a fractured foot. The skin on his foot was severely abraded, causing a large open wound. He was hospitalized for treatment with an initial medical cost of approximately 7,000,000 VND. According to doctors, after two weeks of stabilization, Thinh must undergo a skin graft to ensure proper recovery and regain normal mobility.

Although Thinh has health insurance, many medical expenses are not covered. At the same time, the family has had no stable income due to the sharp decline in dragon fruit prices, while Mrs. Nguyet’s daily labor work has been irregular. In order to pay for Thinh’s treatment, the family has had to borrow money from neighbors.

In this extremely difficult situation, the family of Ngo Quang Thinh sincerely hopes to receive support and compassion from kind-hearted donors. They are seeking assistance of 10,000,000 VND to help cover the costs of the skin graft surgery, medications, and basic living expenses during Thinh’s recovery period. This support would greatly help the family overcome this hardship and give Thinh a chance to heal and return to normal life.

Every contribution at this time would be a meaningful encouragement and a lifeline for the family.
