Medical support #41:Châu Thị Kiều Nga

Ms. Nga has two children. Her eldest daughter is married and lives separately, while her younger son has a disability and intellectual impairment, relying entirely on Ms. Nga for daily care. Previously, she stayed at home to care for her son while running a small roadside drink stall and raising chickens to support the family. Her husband works as a laborer with unstable income.

Two years ago, Ms. Nga was diagnosed with cervical cancer and underwent surgery and treatment. However, after regular follow-ups, her condition worsened about three months ago, with cancer spreading to her bladder and other organs. Doctors had to remove both her uterus and bladder.

Currently, the family is facing extreme hardship. Her husband must stay in the hospital to care for her, while their disabled son cannot take care of himself. The family has lost nearly all sources of income.

The recent surgery cost nearly 100,000,000 VND. Although health insurance covered 80%, the family still had to pay around 30,000,000 VND for medications and medical supplies not covered, forcing them to borrow money.

The family sincerely hopes to receive support from generous donors in the amount of 30,000,000 VND to help cover treatment expenses and give Ms. Nga a chance to continue her fight for life.
