There are unexpected hardships that can turn a peaceful family life into a daily struggle against illness and financial hardship. Ms. Tran Thi Chau Diem (born in 1975), from Ham Kiem Commune, Lam Dong Province, is facing such a heartbreaking situation and urgently needs our support.
Ten years ago, her husband, Mr. Nguyen Cong Thuc (born in 1972), suffered a severe stroke that left him permanently disabled and confined to a wheelchair. Since then, Ms. Diem has become the family's sole breadwinner while also caring for her husband every day.
To provide for her family, she worked tirelessly tending 500 dragon fruit plants, hoping to earn a stable income. However, repeated natural disasters, heavy rains, and the sharp decline in dragon fruit prices caused continuous financial losses. Unable to cover daily living expenses, the family was forced to take out bank loans and is now burdened with a debt of more than VND 220 million.
Despite these challenges, Ms. Diem never gave up on her children's education. Her youngest daughter, Nguyen Tran Nhu Huynh Tram (born in 2008), has just graduated from high school and dreams of attending university.
Sadly, another tragedy struck when Ms. Diem was diagnosed with Stage 5 chronic kidney disease (end-stage kidney failure). She now requires regular dialysis to stay alive, and the ongoing treatment costs are far beyond what the family can afford.
In response to this urgent situation, Thien Chi Center sincerely appeals to generous donors and compassionate supporters to help raise VND 20,000,000 to cover part of Ms. Diem's dialysis expenses. This support will help sustain her life-saving treatment, ease the family's financial burden, and enable them to continue caring for her disabled husband while giving their daughter the opportunity to pursue higher education.
Every donation, no matter the amount, brings hope. Your kindness is not only financial assistance but also a source of strength and encouragement for a family struggling to overcome overwhelming adversity.
On behalf of Ms. Diem's family, we sincerely thank everyone for your compassion, generosity, and continued support. We wish you and your loved ones good health, happiness, and abundant blessings.
"Every act of kindness brings hope. Every donation gives a family the strength to carry on."
