Capacity-Building Training – Supporting Disadvantaged Households

Recently, the project collaborated with local partners and authorities in Nghị Đức and Đồng Kho communes to organize training sessions aimed at improving knowledge and practical skills for disadvantaged households. The training covered essential topics such as preventing fowl cholera in chickens, rice plant care techniques, and household financial management.

These sessions were designed to meet the real needs of the community, providing basic yet highly applicable knowledge to support daily agricultural production. In addition, financial management lessons helped families plan their spending wisely, save effectively, and prepare for unexpected risks such as illness or natural disasters.

A total of 82 participants attended the training. This activity not only enhances production capacity but also supports households in building more stable and sustainable livelihoods.

Recently, the project collaborated with local authorities to conduct surveys and review monthly scholarship support for students facing challenging conditions. Based on the assessment, the project approved a monthly scholarship of 500,000 VND for Đỗ Xuân Thành from Đồng Kho Commune. This support helps him purchase school supplies and cover essential educational expenses.

Supporting Livelihoods Through Capital Disbursement and Community Education in November

In November, Thiện Chí Center collaborated with local commune management boards to disburse capital to more than 200 disadvantaged households, helping them invest in agricultural production and improve their economic conditions. This financial support enables families to purchase seeds, fertilizers, livestock, or upgrade farming areas, thereby increasing productivity and income.

Vision Screening for Students – Joining Hands to Protect Children’s Eye Health

Thiện Chí Center collaborated with primary schools and local authorities in the communes of Tuyên Quang, Hàm Kiệm, Hàm Thạnh, Hàm Thuận Nam, Tân Lập, and Tân Thành to carry out a large-scale vision screening program for nearly 8,000 students. During September and October, with the meaningful sponsorship of Trái Tim MoMo and Heo Đất MoMo, the Thien Chi Center awarded a total of 1,562 scholarships to students in difficult circumstances across the region. This timely support helped ease the financial burden of school expenses such as textbooks, uniforms, and other essential fees for the new academic year.
