In December 2025, Thien Chi Center collaborated with Ham Kiem Kindergarten to organize a series of activities aimed at raising awareness of respiratory health and environmental protection for preschool children. The program focused on simple and age-appropriate topics closely related to children’s daily lives, such as the harmful effects of tobacco smoke on the lungs and the important role of green trees in protecting human health and the living environment.

Through visual materials, engaging stories, and the dedicated guidance of teachers, students were able to absorb the information in a natural and enjoyable way. More than 200 preschool children actively participated in the activities. In addition to listening and learning, the children were given opportunities to practice caring for plants and to share their thoughts on the benefits of trees for air quality, health, and everyday life.
The activities contributed to building children’s initial understanding of how to protect their own health, avoid factors that may harm the respiratory system, and develop positive attitudes toward nature and environmental protection from an early age. This serves as an important foundation for fostering healthy lifestyles and responsible behavior in the future.
