Join hands in implementing the Eye Examination Program for elementary school students in Binh Thuan province

The importance of eyes in daily life, particularly for students, cannot be denied. However, the prevalence of refractive errors among school-age children is on the rise. Around 3 million children in the country currently suffer from these issues, with at least 3 out of every 10 students affected. The Covid-19 pandemic has exacerbated the situation, posing a serious threat to children's visual health.

Sadly, not all children receive timely examinations and treatment for their eye problems. Many parents are unaware of the consequences, leading to indifference and delayed treatment. In rural areas with limited access to healthcare, families facing financial difficulties do not prioritize eye care for their children.

To address this urgent issue, the Thien Chi Community Support and Development Center, is organizing a free Eye Examination Program for elementary school students in the Duc Linh and Tanh Linh districts. Taking place from March to May 2023, the program aims to provide comprehensive eye examinations to over 20,000 students, along with free glasses for disadvantaged students.

The Thien Chi Community Support and Development Center appeals to kind-hearted individuals and organizations for support. Donations will play a crucial role in ensuring the program's success, empowering students with improved vision and opportunities for success.

Together, let's make a difference in the lives of these students. By supporting this program, we can provide them with the gift of healthy eyes, ensuring their education and future prospects are not hindered by preventable vision problems. Join us in creating a brighter future for these students and giving them the eyesight they deserve.
