At the beginning of the new school year, 67 teachers from 13 secondary schools in Hàm Thuận Nam District participated in a training program aimed at enhancing their knowledge of gender education. The program was organized by the Thiện Chí Center in collaboration with the Department of Education and school administrators.

Over the two-day training session, the teachers not only received updated knowledge but also engaged in practical teaching exercises. The sample lessons, designed to be interactive and relatable, helped boost the teachers' confidence in delivering gender education and life skills to their students. This preparation is crucial for the comprehensive implementation of gender education programs in schools, scheduled for December 2024.

Integrating gender education into the curriculum is a practical initiative to equip students with essential knowledge to protect themselves, build healthy lifestyles, and foster appropriate behavior in relationships.

The success of the program owes much to the support of the Department of Education and school administrators, who provided maximum opportunities for teachers to participate, learn, and share experiences.

This noteworthy initiative promises to yield positive results, not only in teaching practices but also in raising community awareness about gender education and related social issues.
