-Uyên Thư – 2.5 years old

-Intervention period:- 10 months

-Challenges: Hyperactivity, lack of focus, delayed language development

- Results: Improved concentration, age-appropriate language skills, initiates friendships, and actively participates in group activities.

In July 2024, Kim Thoa, a young mother, noticed unusual signs in her child's speech and behavior, especially during interactions with her. Concerned, she brought her daughter to Thiện Chí Center for early intervention. At that time, Uyên Thư struggled with speech and behavioral issues—she was hyperactive, unfocused, did not respond to her name, and her speech was unclear and incoherent. She was diagnosed with a language disorder.

Throughout the intervention process, Uyên Thư often cried and exhibited inappropriate behaviors. However, with continuous support, she gradually began to pay attention, listen actively, and express her needs through appropriate language and age-appropriate social-emotional responses. She learned to make friends, and—most notably—thanks to her mother’s patience, consistent efforts in taking her to school, and the encouragement from the Center, she successfully completed the 10-month intervention. She can now communicate, recognize her name and age, participate in daily activities, perform self-care, and manage her emotions.

We wholeheartedly congratulate Uyên Thư and her family, especially her mother, Kim Thoa, for her unwavering dedication throughout this journey. We hope Uyên Thư continues to integrate well and always remains the lovely little g

irl she is!

Common concerns include unpleasant odors, noise, sanitation issues, and the risk of disease outbreaks. During the dry season, water shortages further complicate hygiene and livestock care.
