In the first six months of 2025, Thien Chi Center collaborated closely with local authorities in various communes to implement a housing support program for poor and near-poor households. As a result, 20 new houses were built and handed over to families in especially difficult circumstances—those without homes or living in severely deteriorated shelters.

Although modest, the newly built homes are solid and meet basic living needs, providing families with a safe place to shield from the elements and stabilize their lives. Many households expressed their joy and emotion at being able to live in sturdy houses—something they had only dreamed of before. With a proper home, families can focus on earning a livelihood, caring for their children, and most importantly, encouraging their children to continue attending school and pursuing their dreams of education and a better future.

This program not only provides material support but also reflects a spirit of compassion and community solidarity, spreading the core human values that Thien Chi Center strives to uphold in its journey to support disadvantaged communities.
