As part of the project “Autonomisation des femmes défavorisées grâce à l'indépendance économique et à l'accès aux soins de santé - Phase (2025 - 2028)”, funded by the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), the Thiện Chí Center officially launched field activities in Tánh Linh and Hàm Thuận Nam districts, Bình Thuận province starting from July 2025.
The project aims to support 300 economically disadvantaged rural women to improve their livelihoods, strengthen their capacity, and enhance access to essential health services and gender equality initiatives.

With close collaboration between local authorities and community-based volunteers, the program not only delivers critical economic support, but also embodies a deeply humanitarian spirit—providing disadvantaged women with expanded access to preferential loans that enable them to invest in sustainable household economic activities.
As of September 2025, 200 women in difficult circumstances have been approved for and received microcredit support from the project. Many beneficiaries have confidently used these loans to expand livestock farming, crop cultivation, small trading businesses, or to revive traditional crafts in their communities. As a result, household economies are gradually improving. Families now have better conditions to support their children’s education and to move beyond chronic poverty and dependency.

Importantly, Thiện Chí’s support extends well beyond the provision of capital. The Center continues to walk alongside its beneficiaries by offering technical guidance, household financial management training, and—most significantly—by helping to foster self-reliance and resilience among women themselves.
The support from OIF has not only helped improve women’s economic standing, but also contributed to building a community environment where women are respected, trusted, and empowered to grow—economically, physically, and socially.
