On October 6th, 2025, Thien Chi Center coordinated with the People’s Committee of Ham Thanh Commune to hand over four charity houses to impoverished families struggling with housing difficulties. These families have faced economic hardship for years and lived in temporary, unsafe shelters.

The handover ceremony took place in a warm and meaningful atmosphere. Local authorities expressed sincere gratitude to Thien Chi Center and the generous donors who supported the construction of these new homes. The sturdy houses not only provide a safe place to live but also open new hopes for long-term stability.

Moving into their dream homes, the families were filled with joy and deep appreciation. They believe that having a secure place to live will help improve their quality of life and create better conditions for developing their household economy. Thien Chi Center hopes that this support will motivate the families to continue striving toward sustainable poverty reduction.

Le’s family in Nam Thanh Commune is a low-income household currently borrowing capital from the Thien Chi Center. The family has five members — a couple and three children (in grades 10, 3, and 2). Their financial situation is very difficult; they have no farmland, only 9 sào (about 0.36 hectares) of cashew trees on dry hills, often suffering poor harvests. Le’s husband works in the cashew field and also collects bamboo shoots and firewood from the forest to sell. Le stays home to take care of the children and does sewing work, earning around 100,000 VND (about 4 USD) a day.
