Ms. Tuyet's family lives in Hamlet 5, Tra Tan Commune, Duc Linh District, Binh Thuan Province. Her household consists of three people: her husband, herself, and their son. The family joined the economic development program in August 2022, starting with an initial per capita income of 771,000 VND, which has now increased to 1,342,000 VND.

The family has two sao of rice fields. Ms. Tuyet and her son work on the rice fields, cut leaves to feed the goats, and take on any additional jobs they can find. Four years ago, her husband had an accident leading to pleural effusion, kidney stones, and a tricuspid valve prolapse. He was treated at Cho Ray Hospital with health insurance for the poor. Her son suffers from hemorrhoids and knee pain, making it difficult for him to do heavy work, though he occasionally does odd jobs when he feels well.

For the past two years, the family has been removed from the poor household list, facing economic difficulties. Her husband and son have health issues, so whenever they feel breathless, they buy medicine from a pharmacy or go to Duc Linh Hospital for a few days until they feel better. Her son takes traditional medicine. Currently, the family’s financial situation is very difficult, and they cannot afford health insurance for her husband's medical treatment.

The Thien Chi Center has supported the family by providing health insurance for her husband, Sy Tang Bao, enabling him to visit the doctor and get medication. Now, his health has improved, and he is able to cut leaves to feed the goats, earning money to support the family.
