Future for you #15 Ho Thi Mai Vy

Mai Vy is an outstanding 12th-grade student at Ham Thuan Nam High School. For many consecutive years, Vy has consistently excelled in Vy academic performance, but little did anyone know that she leads a challenging life and lacks affection from her parents. Vy parents separated and formed new families, leaving Vy, at the tender age of 3 months, in the care of her grandparents without any financial support.

In addition to Vy, Vy cousin, Chiến, who has congenital disabilities and has been bedridden since birth (now 5 years old), faces a similar situation. His parents also separated, leaving him to be raised by Vy's grandparents. The Vy family lives in an inexpensive rented house for 1 million VND per month. The family's livelihood depends on Vy's grandmother selling food and beverages daily at the market to earn income for the family.

Outside of school, when she gets home, Vy takes care of her children and helps her grandmother prepare things to sell at the market. Mr. and Mrs. Vy are also disabled, so their business is not as good as others. They only rely on the love of acquaintances, so their daily income is about 100,000 VND to 150,000 VND, each month subsidized by the state. For Vy's younger brother, it is 1,250,000 VND, while Vy's younger brother's expenses per month are up to 3 million VND (milk, diapers...).

Because of such circumstances, Vy has to take on part-time work to earn extra money for her education. During the summer, Vy sought employment at dragon fruit farms. She shared that, witnessing Vy grandparents' difficulties, she felt the need to find work. Vy is determined to complete 12th grade and pursue a university education in the field of journalism, despite knowing the challenges. Vy dream is to achieve this goal, and she remains hopeful. In the past summer, she worked for two months and earned 3.2 million VND to cover her tuition fees for the upcoming school year. However, additional expenses for textbooks(500k/set of books), extra lessons (500,000vnd/month), transportation, clothing, and living expenses weigh heavily on Vy mind.

To contribute to Vy's dreams and help Vy family overcome difficulties, let's join forces to support Vy.
