Le Hoang Vi is an adorable girl, currently residing in hamlet 10, Duc Tin commune, Duc Linh district, Binh Thuan province. Her family consists of her parents and four siblings, all of whom are of school age.
The family's already difficult situation became even more challenging when Vi's mother was diagnosed with a brain atrophy condition and had to undergo surgery. They had to borrow money to take care of Vi's mother. Although her mother's health gradually improved after the surgery, her memory wasn't as sharp as before. Vi's father shoulders the burden of paying for her mother's medication alone, but their family doesn't own any land or fields.
In order to have a source of income to take care of his family, Vi's father shaves rubber hats for people who live far away from home. The average income is meager at less than 800,000 VND/month to take care of the whole family. Her health is not good so her mother just stays at home. Every day when her health is okay, she will accompany him to help drain the pus.
With difficult circumstances, his wife is sick and 4 children are school age. Thien Chi hopes to receive regular resources to support Le Hoang Vi's scholarship of 300,000 VND/month for the next 9 months of study.
