Mrs. Nguyen Thi Linh’s family, living in Phu Hung Hamlet, Tuyen Quang Commune, Lam Dong Province, is one of the poor households in the area. The family has five members and had spent many years living in a small, deteriorating house. The house was built a long time ago with a cement floor, unfinished brick walls, and a corrugated iron roof that leaked in many places.
The family owns no farmland and only has a small plot of about 200 square meters on which their house stands. Mrs. Linh suffers from poor health and is often ill, making it difficult for her to work. She stays at home and takes care of household chores. Her two older children also have weak health and had to leave school after Grade 9 to take on temporary jobs, but their work is irregular and unstable. Hien, the youngest son, also left school after Grade 9 and is currently unable to work because of his fragile health.

The family's main source of income comes from Mrs. Linh’s husband, who works as a security guard for Nova Company and earns about 4.5 million VND per month, which is only enough to cover basic daily expenses. As a result, the dream of building a safe and solid house seemed impossible.
Understanding the family’s difficult circumstances, the local authorities mobilized support from Thien Chi Center and generous donors to help fund the construction of a new home. The house has now been completed, bringing immense joy and happiness to the family after more than 20 years of waiting.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Thien Chi Center and all donors whose kindness and support have given them a safe and stable place to call home.
