To support school health care and help disadvantaged students, the Thien Chi Center collaborated with local authorities, school boards, and the Eye Hospital to organize eye screening and vision testing activities for primary school students in Tuyen Quang, Ham Kiem, Ham Thanh, Tan Thanh, Tan Lap communes, and Ham Thuan Nam district, Lam Dong province.

During the program, 9,004 students received initial eye screenings. After the first examination, 773 students were referred for specialized eye check-ups for further diagnosis. As a result, 458 pairs of glasses were provided to students diagnosed with refractive errors who needed corrective lenses prescribed by doctors.

This meaningful activity not only helped improve students’ eyesight and learning conditions but also raised parents’ awareness about the importance of eye care for children. Local authorities, teachers, and parents expressed great appreciation and happiness as the students received timely care and support. This is a practical activity with profound humanitarian meaning for students.
