In July 2026, Thien Chi Center was delighted to welcome Mr. Lucas, a volunteer from France, to visit and experience the community development activities of the Mekong Plus-funded project.

During his visit, Lucas met beneficiary families, interacted with local residents, and learned about the project's practical initiatives that support disadvantaged households in improving their livelihoods, increasing their income, and building a more sustainable future. He also participated in community activities, listened to the stories of local families, and witnessed the positive changes the project has brought to their lives.

Through these firsthand experiences, Lucas gained a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable families and the meaningful impact created through the support of international donors. The visit provided a valuable opportunity for learning, cultural exchange, and strengthening the connection between volunteers, local communities, and development partners.

Thien Chi Center sincerely thanks Mekong Plus for its continued support and commitment to community development. Together with dedicated international volunteers like Lucas, Mekong Plus helps spread compassion, create opportunities, and bring hope to disadvantaged families, contributing to a more sustainable and inclusive future for the community.
