Mrs. Huynh Thi Hoai’s family, from Ham Can 3 Hamlet, Ham Thanh Commune, is classified as a near-poor household in the local community. She and her husband have three school-aged children. Her husband works as a casual laborer, while she takes care of 200 dragon fruit plants and raises buffaloes and goats. Because she has young children to care for, she has limited opportunities to work outside the home.

After more than 10 years of use, the family’s house had seriously deteriorated and was further damaged by the floods in September 2025, making it unsafe to live in. However, due to their difficult financial situation, the family could not afford to rebuild the house.
With support from relatives and the local community, together with a VND 15 million contribution from Thien Chi Center, the family has been able to begin rebuilding their home.
The new house is currently under construction and is expected to be completed soon, providing the family with a safer and more stable place to live and renewed hope for a better future.
