On December 17, representatives of Mekong Plus visited Ham Thanh Commune to encourage and share with poor households affected by recent flooding. The visit demonstrated the donor’s deep concern for local people’s lives, especially families facing significant hardship.

During the visit, the delegation kindly inquired about post-flood living conditions, listened to residents’ stories about losses in production and daily life, and asked about the children’s education. Mekong Plus representatives expressed sympathy for the difficulties families are facing and encouraged them to remain resilient during this challenging time.
The visit was accompanied by representatives of the Ham Thanh local authorities and staff from Thien Chi Center. On this occasion, Mekong Plus extended their best wishes for local people to soon stabilize their lives, gradually restore household livelihoods, and continue supporting their children’s education toward a better future.
