MONTHLY SCHOLARSHIPS – A HEARTFELT THANK YOU

Another school year has come to an end.

For many students, this marks the beginning of a joyful summer break after months of hard work. But for children from particularly disadvantaged families, the end of the school year is also a time to reflect on a journey filled with determination—a journey made possible by their own perseverance, their families' quiet sacrifices, and the kindness of countless generous supporters.

Some children are being raised by elderly grandparents. Others have lost a parent or live with parents who struggle with illness, unstable jobs, and insufficient income to meet the family's basic needs. At times, a new school uniform, notebooks, or tuition fees became a heavy burden. Some even feared they would have to leave school because of financial hardship.

Thanks to the compassion and generosity of our sponsors, monthly scholarships have become rays of hope, encouraging these children to continue their education with confidence and determination.

Although the scholarships are modest in value, they make a meaningful difference to each family. They help cover the cost of school supplies, tuition fees, clothing, and other essential expenses, while easing the financial burden on parents so their children can remain in school.

One student shared:

"I am very happy to receive this scholarship. It helps me buy school supplies and means I no longer have to worry about dropping out. I will study hard so that one day I can help children who are facing difficulties like mine."

Another student said emotionally:

"Thank you for always thinking of us. I promise to study hard, behave well, and work towards achieving my dreams."

The gratitude is shared not only by the students but also by their parents.

One parent expressed:

"Our family has faced many hardships, and there were times when we thought we could no longer afford to keep our child in school. Thanks to the monthly scholarship, our child has the opportunity to continue learning. We are deeply grateful to all the sponsors."

Another mother said with tears in her eyes:

"Every time I receive the scholarship for my child, I feel as though hope has been restored. Thank you to everyone who has shown love and stood beside our family during our most difficult times."

For these families, the scholarships are more than financial assistance—they are a powerful source of encouragement. They remind the children that they are not alone on their educational journey and that there are many people who believe in them and hope they will build a brighter future.

As another school year comes to a close, the students and their families have one simple message to share: "Thank you."

Thien Chi Center would like to express our deepest gratitude to all sponsors, partner organizations, businesses, and generous donors who have continuously supported our Monthly Scholarship Program for disadvantaged students. Your trust, kindness, and generosity have enabled hundreds of children to remain in school, pursue their dreams, and look toward a brighter future with hope and confidence.

Each scholarship represents far more than financial support. It is a gift of hope, encouragement, and compassion. Your contributions have helped keep dreams alive, inspired children to continue learning, and empowered them to build better lives for themselves and their families.

Thank you for being an important part of these children's journeys. Thank you for planting the seeds of kindness and hope. We believe that these seeds will one day blossom into stories of resilience, gratitude, and a new generation committed to sharing compassion and creating positive change in their communities.
