Within the framework of the project “Economic Development for Poor Rural Women through Financial Support, Capacity Building, and Access to Healthcare (2025–2028)”, funded by the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF), the Thien Chi Center continues to collaborate with local collaborators and commune management boards to implement support activities in the project areas.

Recently, the project has worked with the communes of Dong Kho and Bac Ruong to provide financial support to disadvantaged households. The funding from OIF has enabled families to promptly invest in new farming seasons, such as purchasing livestock, animal feed, and fertilizers, thereby maintaining and developing their livelihoods.

In Ham Thuan Nam district, the project has supported 100 poor women households through various livelihood models such as small-scale trading and agricultural production, contributing to gradual income improvement and greater household stability.

At the same time, the Thien Chi Center’s network of collaborators conducts regular monthly visits to households to monitor economic development, health conditions, and children’s education. Through these visits, families have the opportunity to share both advantages and challenges encountered during project participation, allowing for more suitable adjustments to their production plans.

The combination of financial support and close accompaniment under the OIF-funded project is helping rural women gain confidence in developing their livelihoods and gradually move toward a more stable and sustainable life.

However, amid pressures from finances, time, emotions, and responsibilities, many parents unintentionally neglect their own health. This is why Thien Chi Center plays a vital role in raising awareness and supporting parents in self-care—so they can care for their children better.
