Ms. Xuân’s family currently lives in Trà Tân Commune, Lâm Đồng Province. The family has four members, including the couple, a daughter who has graduated from university and is now living a religious life in the Catholic Church, and a son who is studying electronics.
Previously, the family had no farmland for cultivation and only owned about one sào of small garden land. Their main source of income came from unstable daily labor, while they still had to cover their children’s education expenses, which made their financial situation very difficult.

After receiving a loan from Thiện Chí Center, the family effectively utilized their available land to grow short-term vegetables such as mustard greens, water spinach, perilla, and Malabar spinach. Thanks to their diligence, willingness to learn, and careful cultivation, the vegetable garden has thrived. It not only provides clean food for the family but also generates a stable income from selling produce in the market.
Currently, although the couple is getting older, they no longer need to work as hired laborers regularly but instead focus on tending their vegetable garden. Their monthly income ranges from 7 to 9 million VND, significantly improving their living conditions.
Over time, with financial support, the family’s economy has gradually stabilized, and their living standards have improved step by step. This is a small but effective production model that helps the family escape poverty and achieve sustainable economic development.
