SUMMER – A SEASON OF JOYFUL REUNIONS

Summer is not only a time for rest but also a special opportunity for Thien Chi Center to revisit the families who have accompanied us throughout their children's early intervention and special education journey.

During this visit, our greatest happiness was seeing how much the child had grown. Once facing significant challenges in communication, learning, and social interaction, the child is now confidently attending school, building positive relationships with teachers and classmates, and actively participating in the community.

The child studies diligently, keeps up with classmates, and has become increasingly independent in both daily life and learning. Every bright smile, every confident conversation, and every story shared by the family reflects the remarkable progress achieved through the child's determination, the parents' unwavering support, and the dedicated guidance of Thien Chi Center's specialists.

Meaningful progress never happens overnight. Every achievement is the result of patience, love, and long-term commitment from both the family and intervention team. Even the smallest improvements represent valuable milestones that create new opportunities for the child's future.

Seeing children confidently integrate into school, build friendships, and participate in their communities is the greatest motivation for Thien Chi Center to continue supporting more children on their developmental journey. We believe that, with timely support and encouragement, every child can reach their full potential and move forward with confidence.

We wish the child continued success in learning, steady growth, and many more wonderful achievements in the years ahead. For those working in early intervention and special education, witnessing each child's progress and growth is the most meaningful and rewarding gift of all.

For many rural families, raising a child with developmental delays, speech delays, or autism spectrum disorder is not only an emotional challenge but also a long-term financial burden. As specialized intervention services are often concentrated in major cities, many families must travel long distances to access support, facing high transportation costs, treatment expenses, and lost income due to time away from work. As a result, some parents are forced to delay or even forgo early intervention because it is beyond their financial means.
