In addition to the Community's Health program, Thien Chi is targeting students and offers additional programs in school as sex education workshops, eyesight project and children with special need are organized, in partnership with the Education & Training (E&T) departments of the districts.

The sex education program affects 15 secondary schools, who participate every year. About 2,000 students learn about sex and gender. Each school nominates teachers who will be trained by the E&T Department and then pass on the knowledge to their colleagues. The E&T department still monitors the other teachers after they are taught. Thien Chi members come to evaluate the lessons as well. To do so, they assess the knowledge of the children on these subjects before and after the lesson, with a wirtten assignment. After the program, a ranking is done with the E&T Department to award the best teachers.

Since 2018, Thiện Chí’s Early Intervention and Education Center in Đức Linh has supported totally 160 children with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other developmental needs. The center has three classrooms, a playroom, and three specialized teachers.

The eyesight project is also supported every two years, benefiting between 10,000 - 40,000 students. It helps children improve their vision and raises awareness among rural parents about the importance of eye health for their children.

Mrs. Le Thi Duong’s family belongs to an ethnic minority group and has seven members. The couple are the main breadwinners, while their children are still young and attending school. Their income mainly comes from unstable daily labor. They own a small plot of land to grow corn, but can only farm during the rainy season due to water shortages. During the dry season, they take on various jobs such as gathering vegetables, digging bamboo shoots, and collecting honey to earn extra income.
