Mrs. Thơ's family in Đức Linh District faces many hardships. She and her husband have three young children, two of whom are of school age. Due to a lack of capital for production, the family struggled to improve their livelihood. Seeing their situation, Thiện Chí Center provided them with a loan to help them invest in their future.
Previously, the family's average income was only 700,000 VND per person per month. With the support of the loan, they invested in farming by cultivating two sào (2,000 m²) of rice, renting two more sào for growing cassava, and starting a small scallion farm. Not stopping there, they expanded further by planting one sào of coconut trees behind their house.
After three years of continuous effort, their economic situation has significantly improved. In addition to farming, both husband and wife work various temporary jobs to increase their income. As a result, their household income has risen to 1,230,000 VND per person per month.
Thiện Chí Center continues to support them with additional loans to help further increase their income. Currently, the family is expanding production by renting more land for scallion cultivation, striving for a more stable and sustainable future.
