Within the framework of the project Autonomisation des femmes défavorisées grâce à l'indépendance économique et à l'accès aux soins de santé - Phase (2025 - 2028), funded by the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), the Thien Chi Center continues to work closely with local community management boards to implement project activities in Lâm Đồng province (project areas belong to the formerly Binh Thuan province).

Recently, the project has coordinated with the management boards of newly formed communes after administrative restructuring, including Nghi Duc, Bac Ruong, Dong Kho, Tanh Linh and Ham Kiem, Ham Thuan Nam, Tan Thanh, and Ham Thanh, to continue implementing the second round of capital support for families facing economic difficulties. These households had already completed the first cycle of borrowing and repayment and were reassessed based on their commitment and production needs before receiving the next round of support. Each loan cycle lasts five months, providing families with timely financial resources to invest in the upcoming farming season.

Thanks to the financial support provided through this OIF funded project, many households have been able to purchase seeds, fertilizers, and other necessary farming inputs. At the same time, each month the network of community facilitators and staff from the Thien Chi Center continues to conduct home visits to participating families. These visits help monitor livelihood activities while also updating information about family health conditions and the schooling of children.

During these meetings, families are encouraged to share both the opportunities and the challenges they face. This open exchange allows the project team and the households to adjust livelihood plans when necessary so that economic activities remain realistic and suitable to local conditions.

Timely financial support combined with close accompaniment from the project team is gradually helping poor rural women strengthen their livelihoods, stabilize their family lives, and move forward with greater confidence toward a more sustainable economic future.
