Ms. Nhi’s family lives in Duc Hanh 1 Hamlet, Hoai Duc Commune, Lam Dong Province. The family, consisting of four members, is facing many difficulties, especially since their youngest son, Sang, was born and diagnosed with Down syndrome.
This event deeply affected the whole family. For years, Ms. Nhi had to stay at home full-time to care for Sang, while the family’s livelihood relied on her husband’s unstable daily labor. Unfortunately, his health has weakened due to a gastric hemorrhage, requiring regular treatment and preventing him from working hard jobs or earning a stable income.

The family owns 2 sao of land inherited from her parents, but it has not been cultivated yet. With the hope of improving their income, Ms. Nhi took out a loan from Thien Chi Center to invest in farming the land and even rented an additional 2 sao to grow black beans. Recently, as Sang has grown older and can partially take care of himself, Ms. Nhi found part-time work at a local eatery to supplement the family’s income.

With guidance from Thien Chi Center, Ms. Nhi also brought Sang to receive early intervention. Over time, his cognitive abilities showed positive progress. However, his health remains fragile—he often suffers from stomach pain and was diagnosed with digestive disorders and severe anemia.
Recognizing the family’s struggles, Thien Chi Center provided 2,676,000 VND worth of nutritional support to help Sang improve his health and grow stronger in the coming months.
